After a long day at work, or a long week sometimes I just want to kick back and relax with a drink. I don’t always want to go out for a drink, the bar scene hasn’t been my first choice in years. But having a nice mixed drink still sounds nice, I just don’t want all the mess of bending and combining drinks. This year Old World Gourmet sent me their White Wine Assortment to make drinks and review – drinks haven’t been this easy in a long time!
The Old World Gourmet White Wine Assortment comes with three drink mixes, Lemoncillo, Margarita and Peach Bellini. All you have to do is add wine to the mixes, freeze and you have a pitcher full of frozen mixed drinks for you or your next party!
When we made our Lemoncillo mix we started by following the box directly. You can add your mixture to a pitcher or to a gallon zip top bag. While it sounds odd to put it in a baggie, the freezer didn’t have enough space to put it in a pitcher. The bag allowed us to fill it with the mix, wine and water and put it in the freezer. After a few hours the Lemoncillo was frozen to a delicious slush and ready for us to enjoy.
So after a long day of setting up for a party, dinner and a movie out my mom and I sat down for some drinks. It was a great treat to have a cold drinking waiting for us with no blending required. And not only did it taste great it hit the spot!

i love peach everything from yogurt to oatmeal, to pies, so im super excited to the peach bellini, sounds awesome and i bet it is so good.
