So I have a confession to make: I had never been to a Noodles and Company until last week. Shocking I know! I see them around town all the time but have never stopped. I do not know what was really stopping me, but I am really kicking myself now that it took me so long.
Noodles and Company is expanding. Their newest store just opened in Macomb and I was lucky enough to get to try them for the first time. I say lucky because if it wasn’t for my test run, I may have never stopped and I would have had no idea what I was missing.
There are so many dish options at Noodles and Company that everyone can find a meal they will love. They have dishes that range from the simplest of meals with Buttered Noodles or Macaroni and Cheese to more complex and even spicy dishes.
I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried the Spicy BBQ Pulled Pork Mac. Yep, that’s right. BBQ pulled pork over a big bowl of macaroni and cheese topped with crispy jalapenos. I got the jalapenos on the side just in case but the whole dish was so tasty. The BBQ sauce adds a sweet and tangy element to the cheesy macaroni and the pulled pork adds a tender meat option with a bit of salt. The jalapenos add that spice that many people are looking for in a long lasting crunchy topping. This dish will easily become your new favorite as well. And don’t forget to have their homemade Chicken Noodle soup on the side. The hearty noodles and well-seasoned chicken make it the perfect fall weather meal.
If you are like me and have never been to a Noodles and Company for one reason or another, now is the time to go. They are growing and creating innovative noodle dishes all the time. You will never get bored with the meal options and there is something for everyone’s palate. Learn more about the company here and find your local location. What is your favorite dish?
