We all need a little caffeine this time of year and this year we have a special treat, and trick up our sleeves. No more running to the local coffee house for a cappuccino or fancy lattes. Instead, we have a new way to get our fancy drink kick right from our own kitchen and our own K-cup brewer. Two Rivers Coffee sent us their newest K-cup creations with Bailey’s to keep us up and running through the holidays and we’re going to give some to one of our readers as well.
We’re all use to getting our coffee fix from the coffee pot or brewer in the kitchen but very few of us have a fancy brewing system to get more extravagant drinks. But as long as you have a K-cup brewer, or even a Keurig 2.0 you can make your own cappuccino in the same amount of time it takes to brew a cup of coffee and add cream to it. You don’t even need to pull anything out of the fridge to make your own cappuccino any time you want one.
The Bailey’s French Vanilla Cappuccino k-cup system actually has two parts, and they both come in the same box. Be sure to open the box from the side with the door so you can easily get the packet and kcup at the same time when you want to brew your next cup.
Making your own Bailey’s Cappuccino is super easy, it has two parts and three steps. You simply pour the frothing packet into your glass and brew your k-cup over top, then mix the two together for 30 seconds. The mixing actually helps “activate” the frothing packet and you are left with a delicious cappuccino.
The first time making our own cappuccino we did notice that you had to mix quickly or some of the frothing package will clump up some and you are left with clumps of milk powder. If you get some of these milk clumps, just simply remove them with a spoon if you can’t get them to mix down. After a couple times making the cappuccino we were able to mix it in time and not have any clumps, and just had a delicious drink waiting for us.
