When the temperatures drop, I just want to snuggle up in a blanket and have the food and drinks that make me warm up inside. It’s comfort food and drink season here in the Midwest and there are flavors we instantly want. Now with only a few weeks until Thanksgiving, it’s definitely time for Pumpkin everything – including a pumpkin coffees and lattes. The flavor associations with this time of year are strong, and Gloria Jean’s Coffees has one for everyone in their current fall line up.
Gloria Jean’s Coffees sent us their fall collection whole bean flavors to sample and try out and keep warm with. Their flavors include Caramel Apple Nut, Pumpkin Spice and Caramel Pecan Roll. All of their fall seasonal flavors are available in store in hot lattes, Chillers or even for purchase in store and online. At home you can enjoy all of the flavors in whole bean, and grind just the right amount when you want it. The fall flavor line is only available until November 6th when their flavors will switch to more of a holiday line.
Before you even grind and brew the fall flavor beans from Gloria Jean’s Coffees the smells are delicious and comforting. The mix of caramels, cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin fill the space and start to warm you up. A quick whirl of a couple tablespoons of the beans in the grinder and into the coffee pod, and in no time I had fresh, and delicious cup of fall flavors. The coffee is bold, with the hint of caramel and spice with out a bitter after taste. I found if you add a little milk or cream to the Caramel Apple Nut coffee it is almost like you just topped it a piece of cobbler with whipped topping.
Head into Gloria Jean’s Coffees to catch these fall flavors before they’re gone, and grab some of the beans to brew your own any time you want.
