I love makeup, and I love quality makeup. So when I was given the opportunity to review Mia Mariu makeup I jumped at the opportunity! What makes it different than other makeup? It is a lightweight mineral makeup that can help you feel and look fantastic!
Mia Mariu sent me three of their products to try:
The first product they sent me was a hydrating lip gloss. Now, the first thing I noticed about it was it was more of a lip stick texture. It went on smooth, the color was thick and consistent and it complimented my tone well.
Mia Mariu’s hydrating lip gloss is infused with vitamin A, E and C so your lips are healthy and moist throughout the day. The lip gloss has minerals as well as antioxidants already in them – I’ve never had a lip product with that much good in it! I loved that the color and the moisture lasted for hours. While I would probably choose a different tone, I was happy at the results.
Mineral blush was the second product Mia Mariu sent. I will admit, I’m not that best at applying blush, it’s not something that I normally wear. But I was interested in a light mineral blush product – it would be able to apply a little color without overwhelming me like normal blush products. Like the lip gloss the mineral blush also has vitamins A, C and E.
The blush provided just a touch of color that I like and was a smooth application. It was a soft glow that the blush provided.
Mia Mariu also sent me a kabuki brush. This is a product I have never used, but they are used to apply bronzers, powders and other makeup products. I used it to apply the mineral blush – I’m actually use to small wedges when I apply blush, or the little stick applicators that come with makeup. The kabuki brush grabbed the right amount of the powder when I ran it over the blush. With a quick flick of my wrist the kabuki brush applied the right amount of blush on my cheek bones. Unlike other brushes I had used previously it didn’t have clumps of makeup clinging to the brush after use.
All of the products that Mia Mariu sent are beatifully made. I loved the products and how my skin felt after using them. I wish all makeup products were made this well and considered the health of your skin while using them as well as after.
