Air Huntress Z-Curve Bow Review & Giveaway

We’re big fans of The Hunger Games series, I love the positive feminine heroine and strength shown in the stories. Zing Toys has come out with a great new toy, so your little girl can show her inner strength and play. Their Air Huntress Z-Curve Bow is a lot of fun, easy to use and was great to review.

Several members of our family have foam guns, and even break out in random fights at parties. So much so, that from a very early age Goonie was given a little single shot foam gun to join in the fun. But no one will expect to see a bow and arrow set coming around the corner of the house when the next fight breaks out!

The Air Huntress Z-Curve Bow is made for children 8 and up – but probably younger kids would be okay playing with it. As long as they can seat the arrows in the bungees and pull back they should be find playing with the set. The biggest problem a smaller, or younger child would have would be the size of the bow and handling it while trying to aim.

Each Air Huntress Z-Curve Bow set comes with the bow, and three arrows. Two of the arrows have a soft(ish) foam tip, and one even has a suction cup. With enough of a shot, the suction cupped arrow can stick to smooth surfaces – but must be made with a direct hit. The other arrows will bounce off their target gently.

All of the arrows have their tails (or fletchings) and a scored base. To me they resemble bees – but the fletchings are there for a real reason – they hook easily into the loops so you can pull the arrows back and aim towards your target.

Not only is the Air Huntress Z-Curve Bow a lot of fun, and my secret weapon for the future foam wars around here. I can quickly and easily reload and be on my way. But one thing I absolutely love about the Z-Curve bow, the bright pink and purple colors. I know that it (probably) wont be taken by any of guys – but there is no guarantee of that! The Z-Curve Bow is a lot of fun, that even guys will love playing with it!
